I can only imagine. Perhaps I keep a pessimistic view due to my profession, but city living isn't for the faint of heart, even without telepathy. More people cast more shadows, the better for those of ill repute to lurk in.
Yes, some people were foolish enough to think me quite easy pickings, considering the wheelchair. Unfortunately not everyone can protect themselves the way I can. I don't think I'll ever fully enjoy city life. I'm more under control now but when people project it's still very loud.
